The shipyard Aliança is an important partner of Protubo. In recent years we have provided bending services for pipes of diameters ranging from 2" to 8" and SCH 40 to 80. These pieces are used in various lines to carry different fluids in the ships. Depending on the vessel model, Protubo supplies an average of 800 bent pieces for a wide range of applications: lines to carry hydraulic oil, fuel oil, fire-fighting water, cement and fresh water, as well as structural pieces.
This year we have consolidated this partnership with a third vessel being built at the shipyard. In the coming years another 10 support vessels are set to be built for Petrobras platforms, three of them in 2009.
