Caterpillar has been increasing its sales due to growth in the construction and mining sectors in Brazil. Because of this, the company, which has been our customer since 2006, has substantially increased its orders for induction pipe bending for its new line of motor graders. Just in the past two months this year, the supply of bends has climbed 20%, with output of a further 196 pieces, for a total of 580 during the year. Starting in January 2009, the additional orders will reach 50%.

Starting in 2009, Protubo will produce bends for the motor graders made by Caterpillar USA, strengthening this partnership even more. The American equipment maker has thus attested to the high standard of quality and repeatability of the parts supplied. This is another international conquest for Protubo!
